Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can service start after being qouted?

If you are planning to transition from your current cleaning provider, it is standard practice to give a 30-day notice to your existing company, as well as a 30-day notice to the new cleaning partner.

However, depending on the size of your facility and the scope of services required, we are often able to begin sooner. Request a free quote today, and we’ll provide you with a tailored timeline and solution for your facility.

Are Peninsula Building Maintenance employees background checked?

Yes, all of our employees undergo thorough background checks, and we do not hire individuals with prior criminal records. At Peninsula, we follow a rigorous screening and training process to ensure we attract and retain only the most qualified cleaning professionals.

Who provides equipment and cleaning supplies?

Peninsula provides all necessary equipment and cleaning supplies to properly maintain your facility. As industry experts, we use the appropriate chemicals and tools to ensure compliance with OSHA standards while keeping your building in excellent condition. Should you prefer to supply your own products, our team will be glad to accommodate and adjust the proposal accordingly.

Who provides toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, etc.?

These products are listed as a separate line item on the invoice under ‘consumer supplies.’ For smaller offices, items can be purchased and billed individually as needed. For larger facilities, we offer a fixed consumer supply rate. If preferred, clients may provide their own supplies, and our team will handle the dispenser restocking while notifying you when it’s time to reorder.

Can Peninsula clean small offices?

Yes, provided that cleaning services are scheduled a minimum of once per week.

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

In simple terms, soft washing relies on specialized cleaning chemicals and low water pressure, while pressure washing uses high water pressure.

Soft washing is often the safer choice for building exteriors and delicate surfaces, whereas pressure washing is more effective for durable hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt.

What time do services take place?

We offer both daytime and nighttime crews, with scheduling based on the type of service, facility, and local city ordinances.

For example, HOAs, apartment complexes, and day porter services are typically performed during the day, while most commercial building services are completed after business hours.

Ultimately, scheduling is tailored to each client’s needs on a case-by-case basis.

When will I be billed for service?

Invoices are issued during the first week of each month for that month’s services, with payment terms of Net 30.
